About the Principle
David Fleming holds two professional degrees in Architecture, a Master of Architecture from The University of Illinois at Chicago, earned in 1993, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture from The Catholic University of America, earned in 1992.
David started his career as an Architect in Washington DC, where he worked for two prominent architectural firms in Georgetown. Notable projects include several high end residences, including a modern glass house overlooking the Potomac River, worship spaces built with exposed heavy timber construction, renovation of the Department of Commerce office building in the Federal Triangle, new office buildings for the Veterans Administration and renovation of the Cancer Center at the National Institutes of Health.
David Fleming returned to his native Amherst, NY, just outside Buffalo, in 2002, where he gained three years of management level experience in design and construction for a large homebuilder. David started his own architectural practice, DRF DESIGN, in 2005, in order to serve the growing number of commissions he was receiving.
David Fleming has a long track record of solving problems and exceeding client’s expectations. He is NCARB certified and a Registered Architect in New York and Massachusetts.
